Games Corner - Free access to Games

We started a Games Corner at the beginning of Term 2 to offer board games and traditional games as another option for our students to be engaged during their recess and lunch breaks. The Games Corner is an open access area where students are allowed free access to the games. Students do not need to ask an adult for permission to play the games during the above-mentioned timings, and no staff is rostered to keep the Games Corner tidy. Our Parent Support Group (PSG) members helped to teach our pupils to play and keep the games after they were done playing.

We are proud to share with you that the Games Corner is a testimony to our students living out our values of Respect, Responsibility and Care. Our students took ownership of the Games Corner and managed the Games Corner on thier own accord. The games and the corner are always kept neat at the end of each day by the students. This shows that if we believe in our students, they will rise to the occasion.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our PSG members for helping out during our recesses. Without their support, the Games Corner will not be such a success.
